Post-match reflection
Head coach / analyst · weekly · most Reflections
After the match, only the loudest players talk. The rest nod. XPS, WhatsApp, and the team meeting leave the same gap: you never see who understood the plan.
Clip the match. Assign a Reflection. Every player writes their reasoning before you speak. You review individually, then the next session is targeted. That is Active Reflective Learning — permission to be wrong out loud, then coaching.
“I use Taptics for position-specific evaluation. I want players to reflect on their own performance individually, rather than me just telling them what they did right or wrong. My feedback comes after they've had the chance to reflect for themselves.”

Staff and squad alignment
Head coach + assistant · weekly / bi-weekly
The plan lives on a whiteboard and in one person’s head. Staff teach different versions of the same idea. Defenders do not think as one.
Share one Reflection so staff teach the same language and the squad answers the same questions. You see who completed, who is aligned, and where the group is split — including a slice like defensive shape.
Academy playing style
Head of Coaching · bi-weekly · club methodology
U15 and U19 teach different versions of “our game.” New coaches onboard into folklore, not a method. Reusable Reflections are the club methodology. Staff complete them too, so the playing style is shared — not just printed.
“With Taptics, we finally have a single system where I can effectively collaborate with our coaches on the content they share, verify that we're all using a common language about our style of play, and, most importantly, see if the players truly understand what we're teaching.”
Mathias Thrane
Head of Coaching, AC Amager
Not another video tool
Taptics is not another place to send clips next to XPS, Veo, or Spiideo. Those tools hold the footage. Taptics sits after the clip exists. Players reason first. The coach sees thinking, not just video.
The loop
One unit of work: the Reflection. Four steps, every week.
-
1. Create the Reflection
Clip, questions, audience. Publish or schedule.
-
2. Players reason first
Each player answers on mobile before the coach speaks.
-
3. Coach reviews thinking
Completion, individual answers, where the squad is split.
-
4. Next session is targeted
Coach the gaps by name. Repeat after the next match.
See what your team understood after the next match.
Start with one Reflection on last weekend. Or talk to us if you want it walked through with your staff.
